ETPU popcorn soles represent a new-type material formed by foaming and processing TPU materials. The elastomeric particles feature tiny closed cells, similar in size to common popcorn, hence the name "popcorn material". Soles shaped from this material are the popular popcorn soles, which first caused a sensation when Adidas launched them into the market. They were immediately sought after by football stars and later beloved by the public. Popcorn soles not only exhibit extremely high wear resistance compared to traditional sole materials but also offer far greater elasticity than common PU and EVA.
